Olympic Lock Jaw Collars are made to be easy to use. They are built to last and the padded elastomer protects your barbell and stops your plates from moving.

You have to be crazy to lift without collars. Leaving your plates unsecured is an easy way to get yourself injured as any sideways movement will cause your plates to shift. This is especially true on heavy lifts: when you’re grinding out a rep you’re never going to lift straight up, and you’ll always tilt towards your stronger side. Without collars this could be disastrous.
