Construction

Weight trainer favourite from the beginning
I always had said that there is nothing worse than a cheap smith machine. So I had my doubts about the ATX® unit when I saw the price. I decided just to ship one over and set it up in the showroom. BIG MISTAKE!
There is always a big delay between when we order and receive our containers due to the time taken to fill the order, plus the long transit time for shipments from Germany. So by the time I had set it up and put it through its paces, it would be well over 3 months till we got more. There have been so many people who have seen and tried it, we could have sold heaps!

This is what sets the IFS equipment apart from the competition. Smith machines required precision builds with expensive linear bearings. IFS has the design and engineering capabilities to produce innovative and effective solutions to these problems.
What makes it so good? IFS has come up with an innovative nylon bushing system that delivers a very smooth movement with heavyweight but no binding. It actually has a quite unique feel. It has been designed to have a little play, so it almost has a free weight feel to it.
They also pack in plenty of great additional features to enhance your training. Like the premium J-hooks that also double as safety stops, and the chin-up bar that has multiple grip positions.
ATX® Half Rack/Smith machine is made of 3mm thick steel, has laser engraved numbers and is a truly magnificent machine. It offers a lot of exercises for its compact size.
